LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Tonight’s forecast features clear skies as temperatures quickly dip into the 40s and eventually the 30s for our lows.

Monday will be a wonderful day to spend time outdoors! The forecast features pleasant temperatures as highs warm into the mid 50s. A few peaks of sunshine are also possible with a mix of sun and clouds overhead.

Clouds increase Monday night ahead of our next weather maker. It will be a mild and breezy night with lows only falling into the 40s.

Tuesday will be a breezy and warm day with a few hit or miss light showers possible. Afternoon highs will be well above average, soaring to near 60°. Peak wind gusts could reach speeds near 25 mph.

This upcoming week will feature waves of heavy rain, gusty winds, storms and even the chance of snow showers as we head into the early parts of next weekend.

We’ll watch the potential of heavy rain and a few isolated storms that could impact our morning commute on Thursday morning which may cause some travel headaches.
