WEATHER HEADLINES

  • Mostly sunny and dry end to the work week
  • Clouds stream in from the remnants of Hurricane Ian, mainly east of I-65
  • A few spotty showers are possible for our eastern most counties through the weekend

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - It will be a wonderful end to the work week with another sunshine-filled day across the region.

Temperatures will stay on the comfortable side with highs in the low to mid 70s with a light northeasterly breeze.

By early this evening, clouds will begin to stream into eastern parts of the region thanks to the remnants of Hurricane Ian moving inland from the east coast. This will keep temperatures not quite as cool, falling into the 50s for most.

Most of our rain chances this weekend will be well south and east of the Louisville Metro as the remnants of Hurricane Ian approach the region.

Some passing clouds will be in and around the area for Saturday with afternoon highs near the low to middle 70s.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies Saturday night with lows in the 50s.
